Keoni Souza, elected in 2022 as a Trustee-At-Large, currently serves OHA as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees, Chair of the Investment and Land Management Committee, and as a Commissioner for the Kahoʻolawe Island Reserve Commission. A proud graduate of Kamehameha Schools, Trustee Souza brings a diverse and accomplished background in music, real estate, and community service.
As a celebrated musician and Founder of Nā Hoa, Trustee Souza is a multiple Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award recipient, recognized for his significant contributions to preserving and perpetuating Hawaiian music and culture.
In addition to his artistic achievements, Trustee Souza has demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing the rights and wellbeing of Native Hawaiians through leadership and service. His dedication reflects a lifelong passion for cultural advocacy and community empowerment.
