Creating a Legislative Account

Signing up for an account on the Legislature’s website allows you to submit testimony online, sign up to receive hearing notices, and create bill tracking lists.

  1. Go to the Legislature’s website (capitol.hawaii.gov)
  2. On the top right of the screen, click the “Register” link
  3. Input the required information including your name, email address, and create a password. Be sure to click the “I understand and agree with the terms above” box before clicking “Create User.”
  4. You will receive an email from the website (mailinglist@capitol.hawaii.gov) asking you to verify the account. Be sure to check your spam or junk mail folders.  This email will provide you with a link that you must click to verify your account
  5. Clicking the link will take you back to the Legislative website where you will see a message that you have successfully created your account.
  6. THAT’S IT! You have successfully created your legislative website account and now can successfully let your voice be heard!
