Ka Wai Ola Offers Free Advertising to Native Hawaiian-Owned Businesses

The November 2017 edition of Ka Wai Ola, the newspaper of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, will feature a special advertising section in support of Native Hawaiian-owned businesses. OHA is offering FREE advertising space to Native Hawaiian-owned businesses.

Requirements to qualify:

  • A business must be at least 50% Native Hawaiian-owned*
  • One ad per business, limited to available space in our section
  • Ad must be for the company applying.
  • Applicants may not advertise other businesses in their space, nor may they transfer their space to another entity
  • Space is a first-come, first-served basis

*Evidence of ownership will be verified OHA Hawaiian Registry numbers (or alternate proof of ancestry) and subject to confirmation by OHA staff. (See: oha.org/registry for information on the OHA Hawaiian Registry.)
