OHA: Office of Hawaiian Affairs

Kaka‘ako Resources

Kaka‘ako Makai Documents

OHA is sharing the deliverables received from its contract with Ryder Levett Bucknall, et al. in 2013 which provided a framework plan for Kakaʻako Makai’s development, and from its contract with WCIT Architecture, Inc. in 2015, also referred to as the Kuhikuhi Puʻuone Collaborative, to provide a conceptual master plan from the framework plan and ready OHA for an RFP to select a master developer.  WCIT’s deliverables included a background analysis, conceptual land use scenarios, planning strategy and development schedules, options for public-private financing tools, market analysis, refinement of the land use themes from the framework plan, and community engagement plans and feedback.  Utilizing the information OHA has received thus far, OHA will work with its consultants to finalize a conceptual master plan for issuance of an RFP before the end of 2020.
