Ka Wai Ola free advertisements

2024 Kākoʻo ʻOihana 'Ōiwi

The November 2024 issue of Ka Wai Ola, the Hawaiian community newspaper produced by the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, will feature a special advertising section in support of Native Hawaiian-owned businesses this holiday season. To apply for this FREE advertising opportunity, please fill out the form below by Wednesday, October 9, 2024. For those who make it through the application process, the deadline to submit your print-ready ad is Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

Businesses will need to verify Native Hawaiian ancestry through the Hawaiian Registry Program (HRP).

Ad size: width: 3.12 inches x height: 3.03 inches

File format: 4-color (CMYK) PDF or high-resolution JPEG/TIFF (300 dpi)

Delivery: Ad materials can be submitted via email to kaleenap@oha.org

OHA Hawaiian Registry Information

We will be asking for owners to be registered to OHA's Hawaiian Registry Program (HRP) to verify Native Hawaiian ancestry. If you are registered you will be asked to provide your HRP number. If you are not, you can continue with the form but will have to register for a HRP number to complete the free ad process.
Evidence of ownership will be verified through OHA’s Hawaiian Registry database and is subject to confirmation by OHA staff. If you do not have a Hawaiian Registry Number, you can inquire by visiting www.oha.org/registry for more information.
