Attend the special screening of two short films exploring the subject of protecting and repatriating iwi kūpuna, or bones of the ancestors. Ka Hoʻina: Going Home tells the quest to repatriate iwi kūpuna that were part of British museum collections for more than a century. Repatriation of the 145 kūpuna involved the joint efforts of Hui Mālama i Nā Kūpuna O Hawaiʻi Nei and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs. A panel discussion and Q&A follows the screenings.
