The Office of Hawaiian Affair’s original 25-minute documentary film has been accepted into the 2017 ʻOhina Short Film Festival!
Come learn about the significance of high chief Kalaniʻōpuʻu, the royal feather garments he gifted to Capt. Cook in 1779, and the partners that worked together to return Kalaniʻōpuʻu’s treasured ʻahuʻula and mahiole to the people of Hawaiʻi. The documentary will screen on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi Island, and Lānaʻi on the following dates:
