This Annual Parade commemorates Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole the founder of the Hawaiian Civic Club movement and proponent of the Hawaiian Homestead Act of 1920. Parades across the Pae ‘aina honors Kuhio for all of his accomplishments and the work he has done for his people.
