Indigenous Breastfeeding Counselor Training

This native-centered lactation training is a 5-day, 45-hour foundational breastfeeding course. Participants must identify as indigenous. All those who complete the full training will receive the IBC designation.

• How birth impacts breastfeeding
• Maternal mood disorders
• Medication and other substances in mother’s milk

• Food sovereignty
