Are you interested in learning genealogy or kuleana land information from the Office of Hawaiian Affairs?

In this OHA workshop you will…

  • Examine the interconnection between Hawaiian lineage, family history, and land in a modern and traditional Hawaiian context
  • Participate in a hands-on activity to outline a four-generation pedigree chart
  • Identify resources to research family genealogy and kuleana lands
  • Learn how to organize and preserve important documents

 

About the Presenter

Luci Meyer is OHA’s Genealogist Resource Specialist. She is a member of the Utah Genealogical Association, Association of Professional Genealogist, and the National Genealogical Society. She assists families and individuals with genealogy and land inquiries and provides consultation at the Office of Hawaiian Affairs. Her service is part of OHA’s Hale Nowelo research and technology center.
