Debris on the road is making traffic difficult, and community is dealing with other immediate challenges that make holding an event at this time counterproductive and potentially burdensome to community who would like to participate but have other priorities this week.

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) will be hosting community informational briefings throughout the pae ‘āina to raise awareness on the number of military leased lands set to expire between 2028 and 2031. These lands are part of the Public Land Trust and are currently held by the United States Army, the United States Navy and the United States Air Force on the islands of Hawai‘i, O‘ahu, Maui, Kaua‘i, and Ni‘ihau.
