Featuring a full day of hula, music, local arts & crafts, and a farmers’ market with a wide variety of kalo for sale, the East Maui Taro Festival celebrates the symbolic “elder brother” of Native Hawaiians. Hands-on cultural activities including poi pounding, lauhala weaving, and kapa cloth making will also be offered.
