Aloha e ku’u ‘aina                                                          I love, honor and cherish my land

‘O Hawai’i nani kamaha’o                                              Beautiful Hawai’i in all her astonishing wonder

Ka Honua Ola a Haumea                                                The living earth of mother Haumea

me ka Moana Nui a Kanaloa                                          and the vast ocean of Kanaloa

Auhea la e na mamo                                                     To the next generation, step up and out

E na kama o ia ‘aina aloha                                             Children of this beloved land

Ku mai a kui lima                                                           Stand tall and unite

A naue like ho’i kakou                                                   a move forward together

 

E ala e                                                                          Rise everyone it is time to awaken

E na mamo e                                                                All of our beloved descendants

O Ka lahui e                                                                  Of our nation, our island people

‘O Hawai’i e                                                                  of esteemed and honored Hawai’i

Ku Kanaka e                                                                 Stand as Kanaka, remember your heritage

No ka Hae Aloha                                                           Stand for our beloved flag, symbol of our nation

‘Onipa’a mau                                                                Be steadfast and vigilant always

No ke aloha ‘aina                                                          For our cause in defending and loving our land

 

E mahalo I ka ho’oilina                                                  We are ever grateful for the legacy left to us

Ka nohona a ka Hawai’I                                                 for our Hawaiian way of life

No’eau ka ‘ike kupuna                                                   Ever enduring is the wisdom of our ancestors

He waiwai no ia mua aku                                               the treasure trove for future generations

Na ka mana mai ka lani mai                                           Blessed from the heavens upon high

E ho’oholomua ia kakou                                                Driving and forging us onward and upward

Paio mau a ho’okupa’a                                                  Fight on, hold fast and never give up

No ka hanohano o Lili’ulani                                            For the glory and honor of our Queen Lili’uokalani
