HONOLULU (Jan. 17, 2012) – The Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) announced today that Gov. Neil Abercrombie has appointed Carmen “Hulu” Lindsey as the interim successor to former OHA Trustee Boyd Mossman, who resigned his Maui seat November 1, 2011, to become president of the Kona Hawai‘i Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

HONOLULU (Jan. 19, 2012) – The Board of Trustees for the Office of Hawaiian Affairs today named Research Director Dr. Kamana’opono Crabbe as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer.

Crabbe, 48, takes over as successor to Clyde W. Nämu‘o, who retired Dec. 30, 2011 after 10 years in the top job at OHA.

Crabbe steps in at a time when OHA is strengthening its focus on a number of initiatives aimed at improving conditions for Native Hawaiians.

HONOLULU—The Board of Trustees of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) announced today that Trustee Colette Y. Machado has been elected as the new chairperson of the board. Machado replaces Haunani Apoliona who has been the chairperson for nearly 10 years.
