OHA's Advocacy Community Outreach team represented at the fourth annual Hawaiian Caucus Day, Kumu Waiwai Pu‘ili – Embracing Our Resources, at the state Capitol on March 9.

Dirk Soma, Kaimo Muhlestein and John Rosa showcased OHA's new strategic plan and its programs and services.

"As OHA rolls out its strategic plan, it is imperative that we reach out to as many constituent groups as we can," said Soma, OHA's Community Outreach Program Manager. "Events like Hawaiian Caucus Day provide us with an opportunity to engage the community, exchange information and form positive relationships."

The event was sponsored by the Legislative Hawaiian Caucus and designed as a day to showcase the agencies, organizations and special projects that are active in the Hawaiian community and making an impact in Hawai'i.
