Every July 4 for the past 53 years, Makawao, Maui, has awakened from sleepy cowboy town and has transformed into the Cowboy Capital of Hawai'i. Working paniolo from ranches across the islands and from the mainland converge on the Oskie Rice Arena for four days of ridin', ropin' and cowboy fun. Hundreds cram the stands enjoying the spectacular competition...and the food!
