OHA Mālama Loan Program to assist Native Hawaiians
HONOLULU - On November 15, 2007 The Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA),The loan Administrator of the Native Hawaiian Revolving Loan Fund (NHRLF), selected First Hawaiian Bank as a strategic lending partner to originate and service OHA Mālama Loan to Native Hawaiian consumers and businesses. The Native Hawaiian Revolving Loan Fund Director Board will retain loan approval authority.
The OHA Mālama Loan features a 5-year, 5% fixed rate up to $75,000 for eligible consumers and businesses. The loan can be used by consumers for home improvement or educational purposes and by businesses to grow their operations.
Loan applications will be available at all 58 of First Hawaiian Bank's branches throughout Hawai‘i. In addition, loan applications are available online from the First Hawaiian Bank. Refer to their website link to obtain the application:
